Ainsley entered three pieces into a local art competition and was given special recognition for her drawing called “I love sparkles”. It’s a drawing of our backyard (as seen from the back deck), with flowers, fences & and monkey bars. She added glitter to it, which we weren’t sure about at first, but it did add to it. The other two pieces were painted on canvas. One was called “Waiting for Elsie” which was done while the kids were staying with Nonna & Papa the day Elsie was born.
